I like to doodle girls a lot. I mean a LOT. Anyone in real life can tell you that I seem to be obsessed with drawing women. Especially in a weird style (not this style but I'll show it another time).

It's based off of Chinese art I saw on internet... I need to embrace my Asian-ness more, I swear - because the lady on the top right looks kinda Western to me. >__<

I have random days where I get ADDICTED to something (like the Cancan a while ago). I get on and off with English Victorian era fashion.

These three are supposed to be characters but their dress is all sorta in a different era (how I made sense of this story I DON'T KNOW D: ). It takes place near the end of the Victorian era. The main character is supposed to be a dude named "John" but I NEVER got to making a design for him. >__< The other characters in the thing are two vampire girls and a schoolteacher. The two on the left are vampires.

The one on the very left is wearing a weird hodge-podge between Gregorian era (the era before Victorian era) clothes and something else. She's way older than she looks. Her name is "Adelina Hamilton". She's very nice as a person to talk to and she is fairly nice to an extent and she's polite. However, she is still a threat being a vampire and needing human blood to live. She's generally reclusive and likes luring people into her home to devour them. Or if she's desperate enough she'll go searching for someone to eat up.

The one in the middle is "Serenity Watson". She's also older than she looks but not as old as Adelina. To some people she looks like the picture of a good woman - she is beautiful, polite, graceful, knows how to cook and sew, etc. At the same time there's something mysterious to her. She tends to go hunting and searching for her food late, late at night. She's good friends with Adelina and she is very protective of Adelina sometimes.

The last girl is Lucille Turner. She's dressed like a New Woman from the late Victorian era. And she's a schoolteacher. She's chipper, full of ambition and spirit, and a very active woman - even partaking in biking.

I like drawing Serenity a lot sometimes randomly. this time she's dressed in Edwardian era (after the Victorian era) clothes. I like to draw her hair down even though it should actually be tied up like a proper lady's hair >_< . I shouldn't have given her such tempting hair to draw!

MORE Old Stuff

This is a comic I drew once based off of a real live event. Except in real life I had a friend with me there. But I though it would be more uh... impacting (or whatever the word is) if I drew it as a solo action.

Some parts are supposed to be symbolic - but becauseI am VAGUE (sorry!) I'll explain. The leaf is the coffin and my foot is putting dirt over the dragonfly. I'm equivilating it to giving it a funeral if you get what I mean. I personally thought I'd rather not suffer like this if I were the dragonfly so I killed it.

This one's actually not THAT old. Not even a year old, actually. Haha. I kinda like this one, though. It's an oil pastel portrait of myself backed up against a bathroom tiled wall. I had this idea then I took a photo of myself as a reference. (I took a LOT of photos of myself for this)
This is the initial rough sketch for it

This is a painting of my little brother. I thought the photo was funny so I painted it. :)

A portrait I did for a figure drawing thing. I LOVE figure drawing sessions - but I HATE that my prescription was wrong at the time and the supposed front row seat was 10 feet away from the model - GAH! >_< So a lot of his face is SO made up...

This is a WIP based off of the song Down Here Where You Belong by Tiny Tim (the original song is by Irving Berlin, though). If you listen to the song, the picture is very self-explanatory.

OLD Stuff

I was inspired by my amazing friend Susie is Dead to post MOAR stuff! D< I was GONNA do it yesterday... but then I got tired after work and fell asleep when I got home. =___=; (SORRY!!!!)

I'm going to post some old stuff now! I'm mostly going to post some traditional, big works right now.

This one is considered a WIP (if you saw it in real life it's easier to tell why). I was inspired to do this idea while listening to Dusty Springfield's version of Windmills of Your Mind. More like the feel than anything else, because if I did this song literally it would be a bit... different than this. In case the subject makes no sense - it's a woman who's smoking on a cloud made of smoke from a burning city below. And there are balloons in the sky with her. The woman was meant to look more like a normal style while the city below was supposed to be drawn in a sorta "cubist-ish" style.

Cubism study of a still life. I fingerpainted some part of it. >___>; I need to do more still lifes, I swear.

Another still life painting of a skull and a flower. Inspired by Georgia O'keefe's style - sorta. Again, I need to do more still lifes and I need to practice some painting, too.

It's a pastel piece of an Indian site of some sort... (I forgot where). I like some parts of it more than others like the grass and the bushes - but the house in the back... not so much.

This a redo of a VERY OLD PIECE I did about 3-4 years ago . It's called "The Faces".

Okay... because my good friend made me - here it is! The PAGE of horror! By horror I mean it's not very good fanart skteches. ;____; It's HETALIAAA~ If you know the series then I think it should be obvious who is who - if not then uh... yeah.

The reason why France is in (lazy) color is because I REALLY hated his sketch big time so I tried to kinda cover it up with a not so great slap of color (I am sorry big brother France, but you don't look fabulous thanks to me! ; A ; ). It was SO hard to decide which one to cover up because I only felt motivated enough to fix ONE of them.

I REALLY hate Russia's sketches, England's face is hidden by that teacup for a good reason I'll let you guys know because I didn't like his face... ;__; And don't get me STARTED on America AAAGH.

But the more I look at China's, the more I'm kinda okay with it. Haha. And I guess Canada is kinda okay-ish, too. Weird since he's just supposed to look like America.

Allyn Thompson

This is a small dumplet for a character named "Allyn Thompson".

The guy in the buttoned up shirt and stuff on the left and the punk guy on the right is the same guy - just in different outfits. He's saying "CLOD" in both bubbles in case my handwriting is bad (SORRY).

And in the bubble on the far right with him yelling he's yelling: "I hope you DIE in a car crash and catch on FIRE - ASSHOLE!"

The can in his hand is supposed to be beer - underage drinking because he is still 17. Him in the t-shirt and baggy pants is his pajamas.

OMIGOD - I realized how badly I drew him in the buttoned up shirt and his arm on the one with him and the spray paint can. SO baddddd.... D: (CUE TO IGNORE ME NOW)

Allyn does graffiti. He likes to paint pretty little art nouveau-esque designs on walls (which is sadly not my specialty so pretend that the flowers are correctly art nouveau-ey please TT__TT ) It's supposed to be more like this: http://cache2.allpostersimages.com/p/LRG/8/804/82MI000Z/posters/art-nouveau-designs.jpg Siggghhh...

He has a crush on a guy and he always calls him "stupid", "naive", "stupid", etc. and he writes it on the wall. He also writes poetry on the wall - but I SUCK as poetry so I'm not going to pretend I'm good and do one for him. P: (Maybe someday, hehe )

Oh, yeah - I do digital sketches. I recently got my tablet pen problems fixed so I've been trying find time to do it. The other part is hope I don't delete it lol! But as you can see - it's kind of an eyesore. ;__; It's the Allyn guy in color. His eyes aren't the same colors (very obviously lol). He and one other of his five brothers has this eye condition, too. It's heterochromia.

He's supposed to be wearing make-up - dunno if I made that clear if the green looks like shadow or something.

I'll try to finish it - seriously. It's not a super big one so... gimme a few weeks. (I'm slow :P )
I haven't updated in a while due to me getting a new job. It's loads of cool - I like my co-workers and the jobs aren't anything dangerous or anything so it's all good. :) it's just that 29 hours/week is... time consuming to say the least. That along with my early morning classes at a community college don't help to give me more time to do stuff, either. Hahaha. I'll see what I can do, though... But fair warning - I gotta go to a museum, write a paper, and other stuff this week - JOY.

On a good note, though: My Mom is getting me a laptop. She thinks it's best to get one now because they're cheaper now for back to school and we thought I might need one for college.

NOW ENOUGH OF MY USELESS BLATHERING~ Here is uh... sketch - DUMP - .

For my good buddy "Suzie is Dead" - Here is a SUPER lazy sketch for Daniel's outfit thingy... (One day I'll upload a DECENT thing to work off of - I PROMISE)

This is a younger version of the female version of the "Ark" character form earlier. She's supposed to look like a boy as a little girl.

ANIME STYLE!!! SO ingrained into my style and life - hahaha! :D The "blah" kinda looking girl sitting all weirdly is named "Rachel". Tory is a delivery boy - I don't know WHAT he delivers, though.

Doodles 7/9/11

Some random doodles I did today (instead of studying for a mid-term >___>; )

These are two identical twin brothers named "Aaron" and "Cameron" Carson. They're both supposed to be British and from Liverpool.

"Cameron" is a happy, eccentric boy with no sense of fashion (he's the one with the hearts pattern band-aid on the right with the soc- football). His shirt was tight on purpose, I was thinking like a girl's cut shirt on a dude. Haha (I know I'm not funny >__>; ). He likes to play football and he likes science and math to the point he studies it for fun.

"Aaron" is a grumpy boy who likes doesn't like much. He plays the tuba which emberasses him a little bit. I tried to draw him a bit chubbier than Cameron since Aaron is a bit of a lazy couch potato - I don't know if I achieved that, though or if I just made him look anatomically stupid/bad. Aaron talks about how much of a doofus his brother is a lot for no good reasons other than just because he can. Cameron loves his brother, though (and is fully aware his brother thinks he's a doofus) because Cameron is just that kind of person.

The little drawing in the top right corner are fail chibis of them playing/[Cameron dominating at] football.

A friend of mine (Hi Susie is Dead! ;) ) said she wanted more Daniel and I felt like drawing him today, too. So I decided to doodle him a bit. I kinda like drawing in this style - something about it just feels so... I don't know what the word I'm looking for it but I like it. The girl Rachel is drawn in, too (though I don't like the way she came out) If you can see, Daniel is stealing words from some papers in the bottom right corner. And above Rachel on the right words are spilling out of his mouth. I was thinking of the idea of "choking on your own words" and "bleeding words" and stuff so I decided to draw him doing that.

Moar Stuff

I decided that I'm going to put less stuff on each post.

The character's name is "Ark". He's supposed to be a dude (the picture on the left is a girl version of him I drew once), but I'm too lazy to look for pictures of him as I usually draw him (as in a 20 year old and a dude). It's a weird story that's all sci-fi and stuff. I might or might not say more another day. (Maybe)

What I will say (to make the next post less confusing) is that his Dad took him when he was three and left their planet (Pohar) and went travelling around and stuff. When his Dad went back to visit his Mom, he was about 6 or so and had no idea who she was. Upon that his Mom decided not to tell him about being his Mom and told his Dad not to bother with it, either.

Ark as a child with various people in his life. The lady on top is his biological Mom "Bonnie" but he calls her "Miss Harker" upon her request.
The person he's with in the middle is a guy named "Oorzaneon" (I made up the name). He is Ark's favorite person.
The bottom is Ark and his Dad.

This is Ark's Dad "Cliff"

This is how my character notes tend to look like. (If you can read Japanese, try to ignore how BAD my Japanese is. >__<; ) I write in Japanese because I kinda don't like people looking at what I wrote. I know it's still a real language but I don't know that many people who can read it so I go with it.
This is Ark's mother "Bonnie". She tends to wear too much makeup.
This has nothing to do with Ark, but I wanted to post this in, too. It's a one-eyed lady I named "Lyeiera Weeggar".

Eugene:

These three characters are supposed to be cousins. None of them are siblings to each other. From left to right is: Tory, Eugene, and Katey in case nobody can read what I wrote.

The guy is Tom. Tom is Katey's boyfriend.
Daiky. His full name is Daisuke.

The Coats:

It's a weird concept I came up with one day that involves a made up world where a conspiracy theorist named "Rachel" finds some strange people with strange powers. They both seem to be working for someone or something and she plans on getting to the bottom of it.

He's fond of the name "Daniel" if he were to have a name. He seems to always be "talking" into a microphone that's not attached to anything. He doesn't speak at all. He can disappear into thin air and jump in and out of mirrors. He usually pops up around where there are lots of shadows like dark alleys. He wears a big black coat and a black fedora. His eyes are unable to be seen. He has the power to make words on papers disappear and make people lose their voices temporarily.

If he had a name, he would probably be partial to calling himself "George". He wears a white coat with random, colorful patterns on random parts of his coat. He wears a large hat and his eyes are unable to be seen. He also has the power to disappear into thin air and into mirrors. He's almost always smiling. He has many things in his pockets such as a camera that can alter memories after someone sees the flash.

Bayani Siblings:

These are three characters that I made up who are supposed to be siblings. The oldest boy is Adrian, the youngest boy is Conner, and the girl is Tammy.
I drew the three siblings genderbent. I decided to draw them all as teenagers for my own personal fun. Adrian is "Arya", Conner is "Bianca", and Tammy is "Nico".
The guy who's bending over I'll explain in a later post.

Random Note: The appearance of this lady is very loosely based off of Yvette Guilbert, a dancer who worked at the Moulin Rouge. Toulouse-Lautrec featured her in a few of his prints and was one of the dancers he liked to sketch.

Random Note: The lady in this picture is based off of some black and white photos I found online of Jane Avril, a dancer who Toulouse-Lautrec drew.

I have been obsessed with cancan lately, thanks a lot in part to feeling inspired by some Henri Toulouse-Lautrec's works. All of a sudden I felt an urge to look into it and his time at the Moulin Rouge intrigued me a lot so I decided to look into it and became hooked on cancan.
