More blind contours. Top one with hands was a homework assignment, the last two were classwork. 

 To be fair, this was a semi-blind contour, so I get to look at the paper every so often. The lips really looked like her lips in the end, everywhere else... I'm having a feeling my concentration thinned out by five minutes.

Juuumpy concentration problems. Sometimes my brain was on track, sometimes my brain was trying to remember the lyrics to songs instead of concentrating on the task at hand - gaaah, why!?

Self portrait of myself drawn with make-up. I touched it up with pens and such afterwards to define the form with something better than powder foundation.

SH*T I am lazy. @___@ The assignment was a self-portrait made by our "best efforts". So I decide to be stupid and spend a mere hour like a lazy person - whyyy??? >___< Need to re-do another self-portrait thing like this another time...













Sketchbook update. I just drew random people I saw all day. Some in class, some at the bank, some in a cafe.

 Random pieces of my face. "Visage" means "face" in French, that's what's with that word there. P: I regret the heart, star, square thingies...

This took a lot longer than it looks. O_o; Apparently I SUCK with gouache right now. I'm planning on touching it up some time later because it doesn't even look like the hour I put into it.














For sure I did NOT spend an hour on this one. xD I had to leave this area in the middle of drawing it so... I took a photo and I plan on touching this one up, too. >__>; Hopefully by tomorrow or Thursday? We'll see...

School started for me recently~ And hopefully that means more consistent updates for this blog? Or at least I hope so. One of my classes requires I make one sketch EVERY DAY in a sketchbook that came in with the class's art kit so if there's not enough sketches to add up to every day until the end of the semester I'm probably doing something majorly, majorly wrong in life. LOVE that, though! :D

FIRST sketchbook assignment. "Waaaa~"
















Grayscale practice with gouache. First try on left, second try on right. I thought that the second one was WAY better at first, but the more I look at it, the more I think both were even. I did better with the dark tones on the first one. However, the second one is significantly neater. Planning on doing MORE later over the weekend. :D

Character description time! (I'm sorry t whoever reads this stuff. =___=; )

The character's name is "Akio" (I MIGHT change it...). She's a transgender, cross-dressing character.

She thinks herself a lady and if you have a problem with it and her in general - she'll give you attitude over it. She's not a soft person, she can get harsh with her temper - part of it is her harsh life as an orphan child who took care of a group of other orphans (part of the reasons for all the random scars), the other part is people bugging her about her gender.

Character from left to right are named: Karen He, Janet "Jeanie" Alvarez, Carolynne "Carly" Anderson, Ha-Neul Park, Abhilasha Chandrashekar, and Adrian Julius Casipe Bayani.

They're all superheroes, but I drew them in their casual wear. They're all also teenagers because I like drawing teenagers. >__>; Yeeeep. I'll draw them in costume one day, and with more detailed stuff on who each of them are. P:
